Comments:
Two Otters feeding between Petley Beach and the Petley Rock offshore. Between these two points there is a mud flat bottom, 20 to 30 feet deep, where the otters are diving and coming up with a wide variety of food, from Rock Cod,Flounder, to some eel like fish also. I observed the two Otters for about 40 minutes and while the lighting was poor, i have numerous photos of the Otters with different catches of fish. During the Time of my observation, a Crow flew into the area and tried to get scraps or steal the Otter's catches. THe Otters during this time, would surface to eat, but would not climb onto the ice until the Crow departed.
