This was the first time I'd seen this bird. It's an Arctic bird that was migrating to the States. The residents of Beachside, NL had never seen this bird before. There were over 30 at this beach.

I saw some on Bellevue Beach about the same time you spotted these. I hadn't seen them before, either.
