Greater Yellow-legs Sandpiper...Lots of them around, this year.

Geoff, I've not heard of them called " greater Yellow-legs Sandpiper". then again, I am not a naturist, or birder.

Yep, bit of a mouthful, isn't it, sam. They are of the family 'sandpiper', but most folks just refer to them as greater yellowlegs….
