great photo. you can see the beautiful colours on its head.  I have seen many swallows, but good photos like yours are elusive.

Thanks…I still want to get a nice sharp shot of one in flight. But they fly so fast, that I may have to jack up the shutter speed, even more so. Snapped this one at 1/2000 of a second.

I can rarely capture that beautiful iridescence on the head.
