Hi tclenche. Nice sighting, thank you, would it be about 1-11/2 inches?
Looks like a stonefly, plecoptera, they are starting to hatch, mainly at night and hide under stones etc, rarely seen during the day. Great "nymph", artificial fly.dressing, for trout/salmon and seem fairly common on the rivers here.
