Great photo! Looks like the "Signal Hill" pair is back, maybe? We have a Bald Eagle pair from 2013 from very close to your sighting. I know there was a pair up in that area last year too!

Yep… Same nest site. Here's a link to a high res shot of mommy eagle and her eaglets, that I snapped this morning. Click on the image to bring it up to 1920x1280, and you can plainly see the eaglets…
