On the land from which I took this picture there were the remains of what I assume was another common murre, possibly the mate of this one. 50meters from where I was standing there is located an Eagle's nest. The remains of the murre on the ground were probably eaten by this Eagle

nice sighting. the Bald Eagles may have gotten the other Murre. Sometimes the Eagle will hover over where a seabird dives and when it breaks water POW.
