Found under a rock in the intertidal zone of a saltwater beach. Moved to a grey plastic container for the photos.

Thanks.  Apparently it is from the Order Mesostigmata and not Halacaroidea after all.

mistakes are how we learn. I have so many postings on this site that I wish people would look at and try to help in identification.

I usually post at multiple places because it seems that the chance of getting a photo ID'd is proportional to the size of the site where the photo is posted.  That is, the larger sites have more members so there are more people to provide ID's. is one of the sites I use.
