Comments:
this plant had white flowers, was between 1 and 1.5 metres high. the seeds were green, and some had dried to black. it had long narrow leaves that appeared to be dropped from and plants in the seed stage. it is growing at the roadside in a row and i have not observed it anywhere else ! any ideas anyone?

It appears to be a flower from the genus Melilotus, maybe white sweet clover, an invasive plant originally from Europe and Asia.
