This is from the same ant colony as the picture I just posted of the winged ant. This one has no wings and is carrying something. Is that an ant egg? There were lots of similar white things in the ant colony. I photographed it on a Styrofoam picnic plate. This was ID'd on iNaturalist.org as a Myrmica detritinodis worker carrying a larva.
