Found in a sweep under a lily pad using an aquatic net. In the photo with a black background it was not submerged in water. In the photos with the white background it was floating in water in a styrofoam container. It was very jelly-like in nature. 3mm across longest axis. Anyone have any idea what this is?

Could it be a freshwater ostracod?
