Sighting Info

Observed: August 14, 2014 @ 5:45 PM
Posted on: August 15, 2014 @ 12:11 PM (diff: 1 days)
Comments:
Submerged in a tide pool within the intertidal zone at Flatrock beach. It didn't seem to be moving so I'm not sure if it was alive or dead. I thought it might be dead because of the bright red colour. Are these things that colour when alive?

It's a rock crab, for sure. I can't tell if it is dead or not, either. probably a Red rock Crab. Sam

The colour is natural, whether they're dead or alive.
