Can someone tell me why trees have this nest like separate group growing within the tree? I mostly find them after they are dead it seems, dried up and just attached to a tree. This one seems alive and well? Is it the tree itself, or another species sitting on the tree? Looking forward to finding what this may be? Thanks. :)
