It is called Xanthoria parietina

It has wide distribution, and many common names such as common orange lichen, yellow scale, maritime sunburst lichen and shore lichen. It can be found near the shore on rocks or walls (hence the epithet parietina meaning "on walls"), and also on inland rocks, walls, or tree bark.

Thank you for the identifications you've provided.  Your knowledge of such a wide variety of nature subjects is impressive.  It's wonderful that you're willing to share that knowledge here.  I love macro photography of nature subjects but I know very little about most of the things that I photograph.  I like to learn though.  I've been reading up on lichen recently.  I never realized that lichen are a tight symbiotic relationship between algae and fungi.  The more I read about them the more fascinating they become.  Thanks again for all your IDs.
