At least 8 ducks. THe young were resting among the Lily pads while one larger duck, the mother I suspect, watched over the young. When i stopped at the edge of the pond, the mother was furthur away from the young than it was from my location. The adult duck swam and dove until it had positioned itself between my position and the young.
