Sighting Info

Observed: March 9, 2019 @ 2:20 PM
Posted on: March 12, 2019 @ 8:58 PM (diff: 3 days)
Comments:
Two common merganser males, sighted on the river at Topsail Beach (the picture is low-quality due to distance and background issues). A third merganser was seen on salt water, but as its plumage resembled the patterns of an immature merganser, I was unable to identify either the gender or the species.
