Sighting Info

Observed: October 5, 2018 @ 11:25 AM
Posted on: January 2, 2019 @ 9:21 PM (diff: 89 days)
Comments:
This odd sea star was found in a tidepool (the photos have been enhanced for quality). While this species of sea star is known to regenerate lost "arms", and they sometimes grow two "arms" instead of one, I have never seen a sea star with a forked "arm" before.
