Comments:
This is an interesting beetle because Newfoundland is the location where its North American existence was first recorded. See: Can. Entomol. 138: p.325 (2006). Christopher Majka and Andrew Cline. "It [Soronia grisea (L., 1758)] was first recorded in North America by McNamara (1992) from collections in St. John's, Corner Brook , and Pasadena Newfoundland, in 1989 and 1990). http://prescott.chebucto.org/Environment/NHR/PDF/Maritime_Nitidulidae.pdf
