Sighting Info
Observed: May 17, 2018 @ 11:30 AM Posted on: May 18, 2018 @ 11:52 AM (diff: 1 days) Comments: This fasciated dandelion was growing in our backyard. Years ago, I never saw any fasciated dandelions. In the past couple of years I've noticed them on several different occasions. In some cases, only the stem is fasciated, with a single blossom. In other cases, the fasciation produces multiple blossoms. I wonder what is causing this increase in the incidents of fasciated dandelions. Any ideas? Anyone else notice this phenomenon?
